HuttCity council commissioned me to create 3 different murals for the new building in Frederick Wise park. My brief included focus on community, tamariki, sports and everything Wainuiomata. I created the three designs with the kids in mind, making something colorful, engaging and something that they see themselves represented in.

The murals are all playful and all look at different elements within Wainuiomata. Whether that is the busy sports field filled with kids, supporters and laughter, or views of the city as you reach the top of the hill or beautiful water holes and swimming spots in the ngahere

The walls were painted with Resene paints with rollers and brushes, then protected with Graffiti guard. The dimensions are:

11m x 2.7m, 6m x 2.3m and 7m x 2m.
